Navigating Stress & Anxiety

An 8-Week Processing Group for Emerging Adults

DOES THIS SOUND familiar?

  • You’re constantly stressed and feel like you’re running on empty, trying to keep up with the demands of work, relationships, and life in general.

  • You’re stuck in a cycle of overworking and self-doubt, feeling like no matter what you achieve, it’s never “enough.”

  • You want to slow down and feel more present—but you don’t know how to without falling behind.

If this resonates, you’re not alone. Emerging adulthood is a time full of contradictions: chasing success while craving balance, proving yourself while questioning who you are, and keeping up while secretly feeling lost.

But it doesn’t have to feel this way.

Navigating Stress & Burnout is designed to help you:

Understand your stress and anxiety: Unpack the deeper emotional and societal roots of your struggles.

  • Challenge perfectionism and hustle culture: Learn why overworking feels so necessary—and how to break free.

  • Rewrite limiting stories about yourself: Explore new ways of defining your worth beyond productivity or external validation.

  • Build emotional resilience: Develop practical tools and insights to navigate stress with more clarity and balance.

  • Find connection and support: Share your journey with a group of peers who understand what you’re going through.

WHO THIS GROUP IS perfect for:

This group is perfect for you if:

  • You’re a 20 or early 30-something feeling stuck, burnt out, or overwhelmed by stress.

  • You constantly push yourself to achieve but still feel like it’s never enough.

  • You struggle with perfectionism and find it hard to slow down without feeling guilty.

  • You’ve noticed that “self-care” isn’t cutting it, and you’re looking for deeper solutions.

  • You feel disconnected from yourself, unsure of what you really want beyond external success.

  • You’re curious about the “why” behind your anxiety and stress and want to explore the bigger picture.

  • You crave a supportive, nonjudgmental space to share your struggles and hear from others who truly get it.

You don’t need prior therapy experience to join—just a willingness to show up and engage in the process.

Note: To join this group, you must be located in Kansas.

What You’ll Gain

Over the course of 8 weeks we’ll explore themes like:

  • What we’ll explore:
Societal norms and personal expectations can weigh heavily on us, often without us realizing it. In this group, we’ll uncover the stories you’ve internalized about success, self-worth, and what it means to “be enough.” These narratives often come from cultural, familial, or social influences, and they may be fueling your stress and anxiety.

    Why it matters:
Understanding these influences allows you to question their hold on you and make space for more authentic ways of seeing yourself. You’ll learn how to untangle your true desires from the expectations placed on you by others.

  • What we’ll explore:
Stress and burnout often mask deeper emotional struggles, like fear, shame, or a drive to prove your worth. Together, we’ll look at how your early life experiences—such as attachment patterns or cultural conditioning—may be contributing to perfectionism and the pressure to avoid failure at all costs.

    Why it matters:
By exploring the roots of your stress, you can gain a deeper understanding of the emotions driving it. This insight can help you face the fear of failure with more clarity and compassion, so it no longer controls your choices.

  • What we’ll explore:
Burnout happens when the push to overachieve leaves no room for rest, reflection, or joy. In this group, we’ll look at the underlying patterns that keep you stuck in cycles of overworking and self-doubt. We’ll also identify practical strategies to help you step off the treadmill and reconnect with what truly matters to you.

    Why it matters:
Burnout isn’t a sign of weakness—it’s often the result of chasing an unsustainable ideal. Together, we’ll work on defining balance in a way that feels realistic, meaningful, and aligned with your values.

  • What we’ll explore:
In a world that glorifies productivity and external success, it’s easy to lose sight of who you are beneath the surface. This group will help you explore what it means to live authentically—prioritizing your own values and desires instead of simply meeting others’ expectations.

    Why it matters:
When you stop defining yourself solely by what you achieve, you create space to connect with your true self. Living authentically allows you to find fulfillment that’s rooted in being rather than always doing.
